Solenoid valve is a kind of common equipment in the factory. It is used to control the flow direction, flow rate and speed of the fluid medium (hydraulic oil or compressed air) in the pipeline. In the control system, it belongs to the actuator.

When using the solenoid valve, the following points should be noted:

1. Select appropriate solenoid valves according to their application environment, and do not mix them. For example, if you want to work in a highly corrosive environment, you should choose a corrosion-resistant solenoid valve; Another example is that the viscosity of the fluid flowing through is large, so the solenoid valve with high viscosity should be selected. In short, the solenoid valve shall be correctly selected before use.

2. The solenoid must be installed correctly. During installation, pay special attention to the arrow on the valve body, which shall be consistent with the flow direction of the medium, and no reverse differential pressure is allowed in the pipeline.

3. Pay attention to the operating voltage of the solenoid valve. The solenoid valve is divided into an AC solenoid valve and a DC solenoid valve according to the type of working voltage. AC is generally AC220V, and the DC solenoid valve is generally DC24V. Connect the correct working voltage, otherwise, the coil will be burnt. At the same time, to ensure the stability of the working voltage, the allowable deviation range of the working voltage of the general AC solenoid valve is - 15%~+10%; The allowable deviation of the DC solenoid valve is:+/- 10%. If necessary, pressure stabilization measures can be taken.

4. The electrical plug of the solenoid valve shall be reliably connected to the valve coil. The valve plug is generally equipped with fastening screws, which should be sown and tightened. Otherwise, mechanical vibration will cause the plug to shake, resulting in the fluctuation of the working voltage of the valve, which is likely to cause equipment malfunction or solenoid valve damage.

5. The medium pipe shall be kept clean and free of impurities. Otherwise, the solenoid valve core will jam and the equipment will act abnormally. Generally, a filter should be installed in front of the valve, and the filter screen should be cleaned and replaced regularly.
